Frequently Asked Questions – For Accessing Siebel without VPN

Note: If you have not yet reviewed the Siebel training guides, please do so. The training guides will help answer a lot of questions that you may have regarding the Siebel quoting system. Please refer to question 6 below for information on how to access the training guides. 

1.     What is the website address/URL to access the new Siebel Quoting System?

2.     What browsers are supported and how should I open the new Siebel quoting application?

Internet Explorer 11 (IE) and Google Chrome are supported at this time. Accessing the website/link using other browsers may not yield desired results.

3.     Which Id and password should I use to login to the Siebel Quoting application?

The same user id and password used to access the Trane Technologies VPN and other Trane Technologies applications, including TraneNet and AMSTDNet, should be used to access Siebel.

4.     What should you do if you have an Trane Technologies provided Id but forgot the password?

Please contact the Trane Technologies IT Service Desk at one of the numbers below and ask them to reset the password for your Trane Technologies network Id.

5.     What should you do to request access to Siebel?

Please contact your IWD Customer Service Representative or your Regional Manager and they will submit your Siebel access request. If you don't know your IWD customer service representative, please reach out to your leadership.


6.     What should I do if I have any questions on application functionality?

If you have not yet reviewed the training guides, please do so before trying to navigate or access the application.

7.      Can I access this application from a hand-held device a tablet or phone?

The application works best when accessed from a desktop or a laptop. We do not support any handheld devices.

8.      Who should I contact if I have a technical issue with Siebel?

Please call the Trane Technologies IT Service Desk at one of the numbers below and create a ticket. The RS HVAC Siebel Support team needs a ticket to look into your issue and help you better.
